Always follow the instructions on the label, which will tell you whether to hand wash or dry clean. If machine washing is not mentioned, even if it is more convenient, don't tempt fate.

Wash only when necessary, and hang dry inside out, away from sunlight. Ironing also helps keep a garment looking new. What if a button comes off? Use the spare one we sewed inside the garment you purchased especially for you.
